Decode class with inheritance

Decoding a YAML file to a class which has inheritance does not work, it only decodes the parent class properties.

Is this a Yams-specific issue? Is JSONDecoder able to decode classes-with-inheritance properly? My intuition is that the problem was actually with the Codable architecture as nothing in the Yams internals differentiates reference types from value types. What version of Swift was used during testing?
