i want to change '\u00A0' in gantt header text ,but i don't know how to do this,

Hi, is there a way of changing the current format and also set the available vFormatArr at runtime?
For me none of the following solutions works:
//initialization

this.editor.setOptions({ vFormat: 'day'}); //change current format to day
this.editor.options["vFormat"] = 'day'; //change current format to day


this.editorOptions.vFormatArr = ['day']; // set only available format to day
this.editor.setOptions(this.editorOptions);

this.editor.setOptions({ vFormatArr: ['day']); // set only available format to day

Changing vFormat and vFormatArr at runtime

@ValentinGrigoras — the setters already work at runtime. Use them directly:

Change format (triggers redraw automatically):

ganttChart.setFormat('day');

Change available formats (requires explicit redraw):

ganttChart.setFormatArr('day', 'week');
ganttChart.Draw();

Via setOptions — note that vFormatArr expects an array of items passed as spread args, so wrap them in a nested array:

ganttChart.setOptions({ vFormat: 'day' }); // triggers Draw() automatically
ganttChart.setOptions({ vFormatArr: ['day', 'week'] }); // does NOT trigger Draw — call ganttChart.Draw() after

Feature request: vFormatChangeEvent

The original issue and @donriga's comment ask for a callback that fires when the user clicks a format button. This does not currently exist.

Tech spec:

1. Add setFormatChange(fn) setter — src/options.ts

After setEventClickCollapse, add:

this.setFormatChange = function (fn) { this.vFormatChange = fn; };

2. Fire the callback in setFormat — src/options.ts (line 91)

this.setFormat = function (pFormat) {
  this.vFormat = pFormat;
  this.Draw();
  if (typeof this.vFormatChange === 'function') this.vFormatChange(pFormat, this);
};

3. Initialize vFormatChange to null — src/draw.ts (in the GanttChart constructor defaults)

this.vFormatChange = null;

Usage example

ganttChart.setFormatChange(function(newFormat, ganttObj) {
  console.log('Format changed to:', newFormat);
});

Or via setOptions:

ganttChart.setOptions({
  vFormatChange: function(newFormat) { /* ... */ }
});
