It's far too easy for us to start a project with a crowded CSS framework, tie their HTML markup to its classes, then launch without removing unused styles. We end up cluttering the web with cookie-cutter sites that perform poorly.
In this talk, I'll explain how uncritical reliance on [Bootstrap, Foundation, etc] hurts developers and users, then compare some of the most popular Sass grid frameworks: more weight given to Susy, Neat, Singularity, with drive-by mentions for Sassy Grids & Gridle.
I'll be giving a Susy-focused version of this talk at the Charlotte Front-End Dev Meetup at the end of October.
