Should Gosu vesrion be configurable

There is removed flexibility of selection gosu version. Anyone using this variable? Should we simplify the installation process and remove GOSU_VERSION from config taking the latest gosu from the Debian repo?

I think that yes. I do not need to configure the gosu version.
