For folks who don't want to create a GitHub/GitLab dependency, both corporate-controlled platforms, for publishing their packages, it would be great if JSR would support IndieAuth to give users an independent login option controlled by them. IndieAuth supports "log in with domain name" where users place code on their personal websites linking to where they want to log in, whether its GPG via MyIndieAuth or OAuth with Codeberg, and the process is completely transparent to JSR - it just verifies that the user logging in controls that domain name.
I'd be happy to work on implementing this if folks would be interested!
