Importing custom IMAP folders from GUI #301

Hello, I'm sorry for the very late reply. If you control the imap server as well, it might be more efficient, and faster to copy that mailbox to the archive host, and import there. If it's not feasible, then I suggest to import using a tmux or similar session. However, I'm a bit perplexed as by default all folders should be archived. |

Hi, sorry for mine late reply too! :) The server is under my management, however, it uses encrypted maildirs (Mailcow). So I would need to decrypt all the email before doing a direct copy. Can be done, eventually, but in the meantime this project has been put on hold by my client. I'll keep you posted in case things will start moving again and I'll have some news, thanks in the meantime! |

Hello,
I've installed the docker version, and set up an IMAP import from the GUI. The process works fine, but it seems to import only the "standard" folders: INBOX, Sent, and maybe some other.
Is there a way to force import of custom folders, like "Archives", "Archive/2024", "OldArchive", etc.? Am I missing something obvious from the docs? :)
The mailbox is huge, about 100GB and 300.000 email, stored on a dovecot IMAP server.
Thanks!
