f key not working while layer is activated by chord

Hello!

In this simulation, the f key doesn't seem to trigger the Backspace as defined, while Space still works as C-Backspace.

On the other hand, in this simulation, j and Space work as expected.

Is there a special case for f on Windows, by any chance, like the Left Control and Right Alt?

I don't see the F key being used in the simulation input. Seems like a test error.

Basically, when using this config, pressing f seems to have no effect, and doesn't register a key press while in the layer. While recording the input, despite pressing f while the layer was held using the chord, f did not get recorded.

It's not clear to me what your true issue is. Are you testing only using the simulator or do you have an issue with the real Kanata?

If it's with real Kanata, and you're trying to show a reproduction on the simulator, do the following:

• assume the simulator is stupid in recording
• do not use record feature
• manually type the text for your problem sequence in the input
• explain what you are expecting to see that is different from the simulator output

Sorry if I sound a bit aggravated; it's difficult explaining the situation. When typing the key manually, it works, but actually pressing the key while in the layer does not, whether it's in the simulator or Kanata itself.

You probably have a ghosting/rollover issue. Open a new bug ticket but don't submit and review the links to see explanation.

Pity. Looks like I still have some work to do. I guess I'll just use g instead. Sorry for the commotion, and thanks for all the help!
