You grant the project maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your contributions and such derivative works, with the right to sublicense the foregoing rights through multiple tiers of sublicensees.

In jurisdictions where copyright transfer is not legally possible (such as Germany), you grant the project maintainers the most extensive usage rights possible under applicable law, including all rights necessary to use your contribution as if it were solely owned by the project maintainers.
