[Problem] The Chinese characters that appeared did not disappear in time.

Problem / Steps to reproduce

Problem: when I used Chinese, the characters that appeared did not disappear in time, so that garbled characters were generated. I uses Microsoft Terminal pre version.

Steps to reproduce: Open a directory with Chinese files and try searching.

I think the possible reason is the inability to eliminate Chinese characters that shouldn't be there.

As tested in the image below, the Chinese characters are shrunk instead of disappearing.
