"Share on" social media buttons - Remove or update them?

As of now https://junit-pioneer.org/junit-pioneer/ provides "share on" buttons for Twitter (which does not exists anymore since the rebranding to X), Facebook and LinkedIn.

Many of the maintainers and many of the Java community have left those platforms, esp. Facebook and X.
Some joined others like Mastodon or Bluesky.

I was thinking how we should deal with that and came to my personal conclusion that we just shall remove them, because it's waste effort to maintain them.

What do you think?
