Blog post: What we are excited about in Jupyter Book 2?

We'd like to make a post that focuses on the exciting reasons we built MyST / Jupyter Book 2, and the reasons we started using it. I'd like to collect some ideas from folks if they're willing to share, and we can wrap this up into a blog post.

This is kind of covered in Rowan's list, but one big item is building websites pulling content from multiple repos, cross referencing experience is extremely nice.

(OTOH, I don't really understand the "works in jupyterlab/extension)" comments I don't understand, we use myst markdown notebooks for a while and those worked without problems already. Did I miss a new feature?

• What is one thing you're excited about in Jupyter Book 2?

From the Scientific Python project perspective, we are excited to have a community-owned tool that can drive all of our communications infrastructure. The new myst engine has the flexibility to address everything from landing pages to blog posts, and its AST-based rendering and flexible extension mechanism make it easy for us to add custom features required.
We are excited to participate in and strengthen the Jupyter Book community, and to further develop the mystmd engine to meet the needs of ecosystem maintainers.
