JupyterLab 4.4 bug bash proposal for March 26 Jupyter Frontends call

Description

Today during the Jupyter Frontends call I proposed to have a JupyterLab 4.4 bug bash during the Jupyter Frontends call and attendees were in support.

Looking for feedback and/or suggestions. If everyone is in support I would be happy to prepare or consolidate a document with instructions / testing script.

• Agenda / goal: test the latest version of JupyterLab 4.4 in a group setting, identify usability problems and potentially release blockers (if any), discuss release blockers (if any) and plan to address them, potentially find quick improvement opportunities and volunteers to implement them. More experienced contributors could share their insights about blockers and improvement opportunities, answer questions.
• Where and when: Wednesday March 26 during the Jupyter Frontends call. I mentioned next week or next week +1 but next week would probably be better taking in account planned final release on 2024-03-26 mentioned in 4.4 Release Plan jupyterlab#16904
• Format: 40 minutes for testing, 20 minutes for discussion?

It would be good to have as many contributors participating as possible.
