How to change the execution interval of an existing recurring task at runtime

I want the user to be able to change the periodicity settings of tasks. How can the periodicity of an existing task be changed?

You have to create a RecurringTaskWithPersistentSchedule and schedule it (if not done yet) via the Scheduler. At runtime, you can reschedule the existing task instance also via the Scheduler.

The terminology is a little bit confusing:

RecurringTask -> Task with fixed scheduler, which will be scheduled automatically
RecurringTaskWithPersistentSchedule -> Task with dynamic schedule. Has to be scheduled via the scheduler. The schedule of the task can be adjusted during the runtime via the scheduler.
