Thank you for your kind words! It also took me forever to get a feel for systemd and while I was debugging a service file I started to think to myself: This is stupid. There must be a better way. And yeah, after a few (non-public) iterations, I converged to textual and am also quite happy with the result! There are definitely issues for "real" servers (slow responsiveness, missing remote features), but since I am mostly a hobby systemadministrator/self-hoster, it solves most of my issues and I can still improve it over time if issues arise :) |

I've never been able to get comfortable with the systemd cli tools. Nothing about them felt intuitive IMO. isd is soooo nice, it just "fits" and brings everything together .
