Problem with i3wm and picom

Short Summary

Hi

I'm using Ubuntu 24.04, with i3 and picom, with dual screen.

If I'm in a blank workspace, Kando menu works amazing, but if I have any other app, like wezterm or thunar on this workspace, Kando menu "freeze", showing my wallpaper and only work if I point my mouse to the edges of screen, like in the screeshot bellow.

It's kinda hard to explain... If you need, I can make a video and upload it.

By the way, thanks for this great application.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Open the Kando menu
2. If the workspace is empty, everything works
3. If I have any other app in this workspace, like thunar, Kando menu "freeze" (in reality it gets stuck... I can still select a shortcut by moving my mouse to the edges of the screen)

Have you added any window rules? I think we do not have any i3-specific documentation. If you get it working (and I am pretty sure you will as others are using Kando on i3), it would be pretty cool if you could add any findings to this page: https://kando.menu/installation-on-linux/#desktop-specifics

I guess you need some window rule to make the menu always float, right? Something like for_window [title="^Kando Menu$"] floating enable. This is just a blind guess from looking a second at the docs. Do you have something like this?

Sure, if I get this to work I'm pleased to make a commit adding some instructions.

I don't have any rules like this, but your guess is probably right, since when I toggle the workspace layout to tabbed, it works really well.
I'm trying to find a rule to correct the Kando display independently of the layout, but so far I'm not found any.
Furthermore, I'll keep trying to find this and keep this issue updated with my currently discovery.
