Description

Im currently configuring my MX 4 with kando, on linux to work similar to the Logitech menu, the mx4 has haptic feedback, i was able to send diffrent haptic patterns to the mouse via a py script i found, in the logi menu the mouse does haptic feedback on hovering the tiles, so to replicate that i would wish theres an option to do that in kando too, thank you

Hi there! What kind of dependencies does the python script have?

I would say that this sounds like a thing for a Kando plugin which we may have support for in the future. But as we do not have plugins yet, we could add this functionality directly to Kando. But only if it does not drag in all sorts of dependencies and ideally if it would work in a cross-platform manner...

i think it only depends on hid libary
im not very familar with python, since i use c++ and lua mainly, so im unsure if there is some hidden dependancys or such

btw i just learend about kando, what awesome tool, thank you for gifting it too us!

this is the script i found, i just use a modifyed version of the demo function that takes a integer and just send that pattern instead of looping
