Description
Hi!
I discovered recently fluentsubs and have to say their "Fill Gap Mode" is everything I've been wanting for a language learning app.
Here's a picture:
Basically it works like this: there are some video suggestions (in the above example, some international news), it does speech to text with word timestamps (can be really fast and accurate on consumer hardware), then create some gaps the user has to fill in.
The whole audio is turned into segments, and the audio is on repeat for the whole segment until you filled all the gaps.
You can create a free account to give it a try.
Overall it does not seem particularly hard to implement no? I am willing to donate my own GPU time to transcribe anything and everything for that project :)
What do you think?
