Driver Monitoring System - July 2025 Enhancement Summary

🚀 Enhanced System Overview

The Driver Monitoring System has been upgraded with several significant improvements to enhance performance, analytics, and user experience. These additions build upon the already robust features to create a more comprehensive and efficient monitoring solution.

✅ New Features Implemented

1. Performance Optimization Module

  • Adaptive Processing: Automatically adjusts system parameters based on current performance
  • Dynamic Resolution Scaling: Reduces frame resolution during high CPU load
  • Intelligent Frame Skipping: Skips processing of some frames to maintain target FPS
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracks processing time of each detection module
  • System Resource Monitoring: Monitors CPU and memory usage for optimal performance
  • Recommendations Engine: Provides suggestions for improving system performance

2. Advanced Analytics Dashboard

  • Real-time Monitoring Tab: Live visualization of all detection modules and alerts
  • Performance Metrics Tab: FPS history and processing time analysis for each detector
  • Statistics Tab: Visual representation of alert frequency and patterns
  • History Tab: Historical data viewing and export capabilities
  • Time-Range Selection: View data across different time periods (15min to 7 days)
  • Data Export: Export collected data in CSV format for external analysis

3. Driver Profile Management

  • Driver Profiles: Store and manage information for multiple drivers
  • Authorization System: Mark specific drivers as authorized/unauthorized
  • Session Tracking: Record data for individual driving sessions
  • Driver History: Track alert patterns and statistics per driver
  • Preference Storage: Store driver-specific preferences and settings
