Missing taxonomic information for taxa on GBIF

Some taxa are completely missing taxonomic information in the master list csv downloads, despite having information available on GBIF.

Below is an example from FBIS Plants.

Again, the Genus, Species, SubSpecies and Variety columns are looking very strange. This issue is not unique to synonyms and include accepted names.

Same thing happening in the FBIS invertebrates master list csv.

So the issue was caused by some species having invalid parents, parents pointing to the species itself, etc. I’ve added a filter on staging to show species with invalid parents.

You can ignore the synonym ones; they will mostly have incorrect parents, but we’re going to remove parents from all synonyms anyway.

Now, when you click “Update Taxa” for a species with an invalid parent, it will try to fix the parent using GBIF data.
This is only available on staging for now.

These already have the correct parents, but it isn't reflected in the csv download?
