Switching back to hdmi output without using restore.sh

Is there already a way to do this?

If not, is it possible to add this feature?

Edit: In addition is possible to add in a script and/or method to switch between wayland and X11 without entering raspi-config? Same for rotating the display? As I typed this I'm thinking maybe I should figure out how to do this to help me learn Linux/Raspbian?

Would be a nice to have, but this issue is a pain in the back. You might try booting into the commandline and switch between x11 and wayland from there.
