Keda Manager component ClusterRole rules clarification

Hello,

The ClusterRole of the manager component declares the external resource for the default API group, on this line:

charts/keda/templates/manager/clusterrole.yaml

I have looked for this resource in various documentation (Keda, metric-server, HPA), but I couldn't find any reference.

I am aware of the external.metrics.k8s.io API Group, and I suspect this resource is related, but I could not find any evidence of that.

Any clarification about that resource, where it comes from, and how it's used by Keda would be appreciated.
