What you are essentially asking for is a way to share sensitive information over a common interface. Those two things are incongruent with each other. To maintain the security of the data you are sending you need to use a secure protocol. This usually involves end-to-end encryption which involves PKI or pre-shared keys. All of this makes what you ultimately want to do nearly impossible or completely impractical. Your best bet is to share the database itself and open it using KeePassXC, KeePassDX, or KeePassium depending on your platform. Alternative is to type the information you need, the human (you) is the secure conduit. |

I'm a little puzzled at how to title this but I'll try to describe the situation.
I find myself often needing to share some credentials to another device. These credentials are either on my computer or on my phone, and the receiving device is either someone else's phone or another computer.
For the sake of conversation, let's also say that there is some sort of network connection and Bluetooth, both are common these days.
As an example, I was setting up a Raspberry Pi yesterday and was missing all kinds of credentials to link up accounts and applications.
At the moment, depending on circumstances, I will use something like Pairdrop, or an online password manager, or browser sync, to share credentials.
However, I'm really longing for a secure option to do it directly involving KeePass, rather than copy/paste. An option to search and open entries containing multiple fields, instead of copy/pasting individual values.
Nowadays there are technologies utilizing Bluetooth and WiFi, that do this sort of thing. Quick Share on Android, Air Drop, WebSockets, server/client, mini web servers, etc.
I'm just thinking out loud here and would like to hear what others think of adding something to KeePass, to be able to connect and/or serve. Maybe there already is some kind of option to do this.
Some potential scenarios/solutions might be:
