I’m currently using KeePassXC 2.7.10 (x86_64 AppImage) from a USB stick on Debian 12 (Bookworm) without any issues. Recently, I performed a fresh installation of Debian 13 (Trixie) and encountered the following error when trying to launch the application:
I checked which FUSE libraries were installed using:
apt list libfuse*The output showed that libfuse3-4 was present:
Since the error indicated that the AppImage was linked against libfuse version 2, I assumed that this was the root cause.
To resolve it, I installed libfuse2 with:
apt install libfuse2t64After installation:
This solved the problem — KeePassXC now launches without errors.
I’m sharing this here in case anyone else encounters the same issue when upgrading to Debian 13. Installing libfuse2 should fix the problem.
