Where does KeepassXC store its last window position used when re-opening the app?

Brief Summary

I've tried deleting /Users/<my user>/Library/Preferences/org.keepassxc.keepassxc.plist

and

/Users/<my user>/Library/Application Support/KeePassXC/keepassxc.ini

Where <my user> is your user machine name.

to get it to reset, but neither work.

I got some of the above from: https://share.google/aimode/3TJefFgQbBCkvwkrQ - there are other options shown there but I don't think sandbox applies to KeepassXC (or does it?)

• I'm getting something like this issue as well. If I move the KeepassXC window to another external monitor (perhaps one that I'm driving with DisplayLink), KeepassXC disappears. If I close down KeepassXC via the dock it doesn't then re-appear - so it's remembered its last state and I don't where it remembers it, hence my question.

I've tried reinstalling KeepassXC but it still remembers its state from before uninstalled.

Workarounds:
To unplug the mac from all monitors. Then load-up KeepassXC, then move its window position, then plug back in the monitors. Moving its window position when unplugged from monitors updates position values somewhere (WHERE?!) so that when it discovers the external monitors it won't then go back to the position values it had stored for them, because I've moved its position while unplugged.

KeepassXC top level menu option View -> Allow Screen Capture (because DisplayLink "records" the screen"). However this can seem to be ignored so the above unplugging approach solves the issue.

I know that KeepassXC uses the QT library. But so does BeyondCompare which runs without the same issue. ALL my other apps behave properly on my multi-external monitor setup.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Move KeepassXC to an external monitor
2. Change the focus by clicking on another application's window

It's stored in ~/Library/Caches/KeePassXC/keepassxc.ini. Opening on a non-existent monitor seems like a macOS bug to me.

as regards a "macOS bug", not sure about that, all my other apps don't have this problem, including as I say Beyond Compare, which also uses QT.

So at the moment I think it is something perhaps KeepassXC specific with the Screen Capture option logic and DisplayLink. But if the facts change I could be wrong and change my opinion.
