Using KeePassXC 2.7.9 and Firefox browser extension 1.9.6 on Firefox 134

I have an entry in my database for HTTP Basic Auth with an url set to https://example.com
In the browser-integration tab, the option to use this entry with basic auth only is active
i have no other entry with that url set.

In the KeepassXC Settings -> Browser-integration following boxes are ticked

• enable extension
• firefox
• request unlock, when database locked
• match scheme

In the browser extension, i have ticked the box that enables filling of basic auth

When i restart my browser, my pinned tabs reload. one of them is https://example.com, which will cause a popup from keepass, asking if i want to allow submitting the single matching entry

clicking OK submits the entry and leads to successful authentication

however, given the wording of the option to enable filling of basic auth, i expected the extension to fill out and submit the only available entry automatically, without asking.

Am i just interpreting the wording wrong or is this a bug?
