Please for the love God make it so it asks for your fingerprint to unlock when you START the app.
I don't understand why this isn't a thing yet. I don't keep apps running, a lot of people don't.
I imagine this is like 5 minutes of work. I'll donate.
Is there some big reason this isn't an option yet that I'm missing?

What would this achieve exactly? You can already unlock a database with your fingerprint. Putting another lock at the start of the application would just hide the database tabs / unlock dialog.

@varjolintu let me rephrase: currently, it’s not possible to unlock the database with your fingerprint after launching the application - you have to enter your password first. The original request is to add an option to unlock the database using the fingerprint instead of requiring the password.
