14mm instead of 15mm?

My thinking is Gridfinity uses 42mm units.
3x14mm units would hold one full size Gridfinity unit.
Also, the standard inner width of a 10" rack is 210mm which is 15 x 14mm units.

I know it's a big deviation considering a lot of parts have already been created but I wonder if there would be value in aligning the two standards.

Hi, I get that a lot, but Gridfinity or Opengrid are not the main drivers here.
This system's unit has been developed to match regular server height units as closely as possible (3HR = 45mm, 1HU = 44.5mm).
There is already Gridfinity Shelves AND drawer extensions for it. Opengrid is on the way.
