Documentation improvements

Hi, I have had my printer for a grand total of 5 days, and I have tried to use your generators today. I tried the Drawer generator and the Shelf generator in that order, and when I imported the generated files into Bambu Studio, it imported them as one piece, so it did not fit the bed, nor could the pieces be moved independently.

• Eventually, I figured out the "split to object" option in the menus to break it down. (I hope it's right). I have not found this documented anywhere.

Edit: just found it mentioned in the modular shelf model description

Other:

• Can you document somewhere the dimensions of the assembled rack in various configurations?
  • I wanted to see if I can fit the drawers into the IKEA Kallax, which is 33cm (width) x 33cm (height) x 40cm (depth), and I havea hard time figuring out which configuration of core and drawers to go for.

Bug?

• The previews in both Generators are not aligned with the bed displayed on Maker world.

Thanks for reporting.
I know that this is a very annoying limitation of the PMM exporter.
Even though you already found the docs, I'd like to know where it would have been placed better in your opinion to be easier discoverable :-D

About the dimensions: 📝 Noted! Will try to provide a comprehensive list.
The last point about the bed alignment is rather an issue (or lacking feature ;-) ) with the PMM. However I'll try to solve that as well.

Please note:
All these point currently have low prio on my list, but I will try to make some room in the near future for regular community request work. (time is soooo scarce 😢 ).

I started with drawers, as that was the solution I was trying to solve, and it is missing in that description. But as you add more models into the framework, you get multiple "discovery entry points" and the info wil get fragmented.

In other generators, I've seen "Info card" object added, which the user is expected to delete before printing, with "necessary steps".

If you would go that route, I would just make it say

• "Real world dimensions of assembled rack (x y z) (in mm)"
• "Rack core units needed to fit it (x y z)"
• for drawers or other systems also their units e.g. (gridfinity x , y, z)
• and just note "Don't forget to split to objects before printing.", "use dry fillaments for large builds"

Nice thing about it is that you get the "user" the right info at the right time as they are looking at the model without expecting them to read through the whole description / website / PDF docs beforehand.

Just a note:
From the videos and PDF, I would probably think about changing the order of dimension communication. You are communicating "core units > gridfinity units" a lot. I would flip it into "Solution dimensions of the assembled rack > Core units > Gridfinity units"

This way I don't need to recalculate how many Core units I need for Ikea Kalax insert, 19'' rack, 10'' rack, how many for a base for AMS Pro unit... (I did all of that 😄 ).
Basically, I know the real-world available space/solution, and I want to get to the framework dimension from it, not the other way around.
