After locking/unlocking my Mac, Left Shift shows as Left Ctrl, and backtick no longer works

This morning I upgraded the firmware on my Model 100 to the latest 0.94 firmware version (I think it was around 0.90.0 before). Since then every time I lock/unlock my Mac, the Shift key starts showing as Ctrl, but only on the left side of the keyboard. Unplugging and re-plugging the keyboard fixes things till the next lock/unlock.

This persists despite resetting EEPROM following the guide , and happens with the default keyboard layout as well as my custom one. When I reset the firmware I did end up with an all white chrysalis screen, but I assume that's unrelated as the keyboard does seem to get reset to factory defaults when I do this (and it didn't seem to be corrupted before).

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Reset Model 100 to default on latest firmware
2. Open keyboard viewer
3. Hit the left shift button on the left half of the keyboard
4. Lock and unlock the Mac
5. Hit the left shift button again

Expected behavior

Left shift continues to be left shift after locking/unlocking.

Desktop

• OS: macOS 26.2 (25C56)
• Chrysalis Version: Version 0.13.3 (0.13.3)
• I tried two different cables and two different Macs just to make sure it wasn't specific to one of those

I tried downloading different firmware versions from the releases page, and flashing them while resetting to factory defaults. Did a binary search to see where the regression happened:
