Sortable relationships

Sometimes I want to be able to re-sort/re-order list items directly in the list view. Currently, I need to remove all items and re-add them in the desired order.
I'd argue this is a common usecase with relations, any chance this could be implemented?

you can implement two ways,

• have an intermediate list with sort index field
• have a separate field which stores the sort index

in both the case you have to implement a custom view, either with drag and drop or with small button to move them up or down.
