This issue tracks the creation and addition of documentation for the "ServiceEntries" section within the kGateway Integrations docs. The documentation aims to provide a clear and comprehensive guide on how to effectively use Istio ServiceEntries with kGateway.
Purpose:
The new documentation will help users understand the concepts and practical application of ServiceEntries. It is a key part of the LFX Mentorship Sep-Nov 2025 program.
Key Additions:
A new guide, service-entry.md, has been created which includes a conceptual overview.
It provides step-by-step instructions and YAML examples for various use cases, including:
- Static Endpoints
- DNS Resolution
- Workload Selector
- Workload Entry
Verification and troubleshooting steps are also included to assist users.
