QR Code Generator

A simple PHP web application to generate QR codes using the Endroid QR Code library.

Requirements

  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • Composer (for dependency management)
  • Web server (e.g., Apache, Nginx) or local development server

Installation

  1. Clone or download this repository
  2. Navigate to the project directory
  3. Install dependencies: 
    composer install

Usage

  1. Start your web server and point it to the project directory
  2. Open QRcode.php in your web browser (e.g., http://localhost/tools/QRcode.php)
  3. Enter the text you want to encode in the input field
  4. Click "Generate QR Code"
  5. The QR code will be displayed and available for download

Project Structure

This project is intentionally simple and keeps the web entry point at the repository root. As your app grows, you can move the web-accessible entry point into a public/ folder and keep the application logic in src/.

  • QRcode.php - Web entry point (form + QR generation logic)
  • composer.json - Composer configuration and dependencies
  • vendor/ - Composer dependencies (auto-generated)
  • src/ - Directory for PHP classes (currently empty, reserved for future expansion)
