Ribbon Missing Clicks During Heavy Application Load

The issue you're experiencing (expected vs actual, screenshot, stack trace etc)

When our application is performing some heavy workload, such as outputting constantly to a portion of the UI, it is very difficult to access the ribbon. Clicking controls on the bands or just trying to move between bands is next to impossible, although repeated clicking on the control will eventually get through. Other controls within our application and, most notably, the ribbon interface's application menu do not have this problem. Therefore, I suspect the issue may be in the ribbon interface itself.

Not much actionable here for me at the moment. The only thing that comes to mind is that perhaps your workload is constantly updating content model bits that cause repeated measure / layout pass of the entire ribbon content on every frame. You can add logging statements in places like BasicRibbonUI.RibbonLayout.preferredLayoutSize / layoutContainer and BasicRibbonBandUI.RibbonBandLayout.preferredLayoutSize / layoutContainer to see if you have excessive ribbon layouts.
