timezone not working

timezone not working

Preconditions

1. Magento 2.1.6
2. MySQL 5.7.19
3. PHP 5.6.31

Steps to reproduce

1. time is not correct in admin logs. It is not according to my time zone.

Expected result

1. My time zone is America/Detroit

Actual result

We have checked the reported issue. If your time zone is America/Detroit, please verify it should be same under the following Magento backend configuration because Admin activity time log showing based on this config.

Store >Configuration >General >Web >Locale

I already set timezone. but still log is not working according timezone. Please see attached screenshot.
