Halo appears but text doesn't, shield-text-dy is moving the shield

I'm experiencing two issues. I've attached photos of both.

1. When zooming out, some text halos are displayed without the text that they should be surrounding.
   

2. shield-text-dy is supposed to move the text inside of the shield but it's moving the shield.
