Refactor the co-routine implementation to follow the brand new approach implemented in QuarkTS++

Follow the brand new implementation of coRoutines used in the c++ port (QuarkTS++) due to its better consistency. This will considerable change the coroutines API. A new major version will be released once this is implemented.
