Clarifications: Architecture, Dates

• Is this version going to be a no build step system? Or will it also use a build system like React / Angular and the like?
• Do we have a guesstimate on when this will be released?

Hello, for developing with TKO you need no special build step or cli. If you want to use additional jsx/tsx sugar you need a transpiler like TSC, webpack or babel. I hope we can get an official release soon. I think TKO is already being used productively, specially as a drop-in replacement for knockout.

Thanks, I tested knockout; and felt very solid. Though the observable pattern was pretty involved.
I have been trying to find a framework for my following requirements:

   • Must support organizing application as a tree of components
   • Should maintain proper parent-child relationships and inheritance

6. ES6 Module Support

   • Components should be importable via ES6 module syntax

After some research I am down to knockout vs petite-vue.
From what I have read tko could also be a good competitor

TKO basically is knockout from a end-developer POV. It does everything you need there, though state management isn't natively part of it. For that I've had success with a single state module that can be included in all components that need it, and having observables within it that they can then subscribe to or use directly (requires diligence, but no different to other state engines really).
