I was looking for a minimal S3 CLI for CI usage - there are not that many well-maintained options I'm aware of.
So I forked this repo, initially to just add github actions to automate releases:

It builds for "all" platforms upon tag push, resulting in ...

The 0.2.2 release resembles current main of this repo.

The newer releases include updated dependencies, minor bug fixes and enhancements for CI usage (i.e. more env vars...) and non-AWS usage (path-style buckets instead of DNS). I also enabled dependabot to ease maintenance further.
Admittedly, I let copilot do the migration to AWS SDK v2 (with release v0.3.0) ... and it surely needs more testing.

@koblas Please feel free to cherry-pick whatever you think is useful - or let me know if I should create PRs for any of the changes. I'd happily kill my fork once this valuable project of yours provides releases / security updates reliably - and imho that'd be easy with automation in place.

At this point I'm such a better Go coder, that I would probably throw the whole thing out since I'm smarter. I'm glad that you're finding it useful. If you find some key things that I need to incoporate let me know.
