AA browser shows on phone but not on android auto

i'm on android 16. unknown sources is enabled. AA browser is enabled in android auto customize launcher menu but no matter what I do, it will not show up on my screen in my car. any help would be great

Same issue it shows up under android auto apps on the phone but not on the actual cars infotainment.
Car is a 2017 Audi Q2 and is non touchscreen.

Android 16 on a Samsung S23 Ultra is used for AA.

mine is also non touchscreen. wondering if this is a consistent issue with that.
