Getting No Data errors

I have built a Plus 2a fcd light and am attempting to use it with a superfo harlequin 128 (3H) in +3 mode. It recoginzes that the controller is present. But with both a gotek and a 3.5 floppy drive, I get the no data error when attempting to access or format a disk. I have used an ocilloscope and see data signals and index pulses from the drive arriving at the FCD chip. I have tried several FDC controllers (NEC D765AC-2 D765AC Intel 8272A) and several separator chips.

Any assistance in further troubleshooting or known issues with this setup would be appreciated!

There is no known issues. I've built few of this interfaces. Please double check passive components values. Especially D1 and D2 diodes directions. What type of 74xx did you use LS HCT HC?

I used LS components. All the components seem to be the correct value and I think D1/D2 are oriented correctly.
