How to link to existing Confluence page?

I'm using mark in an environment where there are pages that are maintained "natively" to Confluence.

Is it possible to link to them in some "normal" way? Or do they need to be linked via e.g. "sharing" the target page?

I'd hope for something like [My Existing Page Title] with no URL, like would work in a wiki. Most important here is that mark generated pages be integrated into confluence, and their links maintained properly - the functioning of Confluence remains something of a mystery to me.

What I've figured out to do involves going to confluence, getting a sharing link from there, and doing a markdown link to that URL. This both requires the slow process of using Confluence directly, and I worry that the links will break in the future, or not be tracked properly or something.

I'm new to confluence, and new to "mark" so most probably will not help a lot
Anyway i've done some tests and what i could see is that when we generate a link in markdown :

whatever test [ my link ] (path/to/file)  

The generated html seems valid to me but not displayed as a link by confluence :

whatever test <a href="path/to/file">mylink</a> 

When I edited the link in confluence and pointed it to the desired page and looked back to the generated source code, the link was rewritten like :

 whatever test <a href=/absolute/path/to/link class="confluence-link" (+ a bunch od data- properties)

So i edited again my md file, changed the links paths to absolute ones and synced again, the links were ok

The absolute url look like

 confluence_base_url/spaces/[SPACE_CODE]/pages/[SEEMS_TO_BE_A_UNIQ_PAGE_ID]/mypagetitle

Not cool for me as the main purpose is to work on publishing auto generated md files that don't know about confluence at all but still might link one to another

The trick to solve might be to get the page uniqid and search md files for relative links and replace them to absolute ones ?

Sorry again , i don't have a solution just ascertainments

My Proposal: [My Existing Page Title](ac:) or [My Link Text](ac:My Existing Page Title) as implemented in PR #207.

This works: ac:[My Link Text](My existing Pagetitle).

Difference: Put ac: in front of the [ and I didn't put any sophisticated replacements for if the link is missing. This is left as an exercise for you.

But they are already implemented. So if you get the newest version, you have them.

OTOH: You can use normal templates still. So just put the inline stuff into a file.
