Failed to format notification since 2024.1.4

After upgrading to 2024.1.4 `Build #IU-241.18034.62, built on June 20, 2024`
I've started getting this notification on each attempt to save a file

`ChecksumUtils.java failed to format with Adapter for Eclipse Code Formatter. Probably due to a syntax error or a wrong configuration file. languageLevel=JDK_21`

I'm using version 23.4.223.000.0-Eclipse_2023-03 of the plugin.
