no Export window open - no preview at first launch

when attempt to export font in the file menu, nothing happens.
no window, no selector to choose export format.

same thing with preview item in the menu.

what i suppose to see?

quit and lost my work (the file was corrupted)
relaunch and this time it works.

the ttf file : char has no width
