Nikon RAW (NEF) files unable to edit

Describe the bug
When opening a NEF files Lightzone crashed
(NEF are the Nikon RAW files)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open a NEF files
2. Click to edit
3. Lightzone closes

Expected behavior
Editing the picture, save etc.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• Version 4.2.5
• OS: Linux Mint 64b

Additional context
It never happened before i many years.
I reinstalled Linux Mint completely but problem continues.

Are you using older or newer Nikon cameras? Newer ones will only be supported by version 5.0.0 Beta 2, Here is the list of cameras supported by that version. Version 4.2.5 hasn't been updated in over 6 years, as it was using DCRaw which stopped updating it software.
