New release needed for images to be built and published

When do we expect to cut a new release? The latest one is currently 1.9.0 here

Looking at the tags here, it looks like there has been several new releases (latest is 1.10.2) but no images gets pushed up since I guess maybe release process wasn't followed.

We're also waiting for images to be available for latest version v1.10.2.

The last release was in Nov 2024 for v1.9.0 and since then there have been no new releases.

We need to use newer version for patching CVEs.

Hey folks, yes, let me cut a new release for both CPA and CPVA again and more importantly make sure the image promotion PR merge. The previous attempts went unnoticed unfortunately: kubernetes/k8s.io#7907, kubernetes/k8s.io#7793.
