MX records via Webhook Provider

Is it possible to manage MX Records via CRD with webhook provider?

https://kubernetes-sigs.github.io/external-dns/latest/docs/sources/mx-record/ does not list the webhook provider,
but inovex/external-dns-openstack-webhook#70 makes mention of this,
so apparently someone saw the need and drafted a solution for this openstack webhook container used by the webhook provider.

Are the docs barely lacking this info or is the webhook provider lacking the feature?
