Describe the issue

Description

When searching for “Kubernetes” on LinkedIn, the top result that appears is currently “Kubernetes by Mercury Cloud”. This is confusing and could be mistaken for the official Kubernetes presence on LinkedIn.

Since LinkedIn has multiple pages using “Kubernetes” in their names (vendor pages, KCD pages, etc.), it would be helpful if the official Kubernetes LinkedIn page had a clearer name to distinguish it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to LinkedIn search results for “Kubernetes”:
    https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/all/?keywords=Kubernetes&origin=GLOBAL_SEARCH_HEADER
  2. Observe that the first result shown is “Kubernetes by Mercury Cloud”, which can easily be mistaken for the official Kubernetes page.

Proposed Change

  1. Consider renaming the official LinkedIn page to something more explicit, such as:
    • Kubernetes (Official)
    • Kubernetes – Official Project
    • Kubernetes (CNCF Project)
  2. We should update the LinkedIn page description to clearly state that this is the official Kubernetes project page, to avoid confusion with vendor pages, KCD pages, and other community pages.

Why this matters

This would reduce confusion, improve discoverability of the official page, and prevent users from assuming third-party vendor pages represent Kubernetes.
