For events page, a link to new Maintainer Summits

Until now, we don't have a perfect link for following Maintainer Summits. (remind me if I don't know)

@kaslin, what are your thoughts on this? We're monitoring the Call for Papers for the CNCF, but I recall that last time I brought this up, it was deemed out of scope because the Maintainer Summit addresses projects beyond just Kubernetes.

@pacoxu @TineoC Maintainer Summits are owned by the CNCF, but we do still aim to keep the community informed about them. The best page for learning about a maintainer summit would be the one on the associated KubeCon's page, ie. https://events.linuxfoundation.org/kubecon-cloudnativecon-europe/features-add-ons/maintainer-summit/
Granted that this will change each KubeCon, I don't think there's a consistent link for up-to-date Maintainer Summit info. And going forward, there are no guarantees that folks in the Kubernetes community would have all the info to maintain such a page, at least not without specifically designating someone to try.
With Contributor Summits, we could add the responsibility of updating the website to the role handbook for comms lead. We're still debating if we will have similar roles for each Maintainer Summit.

Traditionally it was https://www.kubernetes.dev/events/, yes. But that was for Kubernetes Contributor Summits when we owned everything. If we're going to do a new page for Maintainer Summits, then yes, I would also put it there. The issue is that we don't have a plan in place to maintain it.

We've discussed this in in-person meetings over this week, and I think we should go forth with creating this page, and the idea for maintaining it is to revive the Kubernetes Events subproject and source a website lead for each maintainer summit cycle (one for EU and one for NA each year). We've discussed the info that needs to go on the pages, and we should be good to go with creating the site for 2026. Most of the info we need to share is already public, so we can add it and link to it as needed(ie. adding info about the registration deadline and a link to register).
