warnings about v1 Endpoints being deprecated

What happened:

kube-state-metrics running on cluster with 1.33 version logs:

Warning: v1 Endpoints is deprecated in v1.33+; use discovery.k8s.io/v1 EndpointSlice

What you expected to happen:

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

1. Start kind cluster with recent version of kubernetes
2. install kube-state-metrics
3. observe logs

Anything else we need to know?:

Environment:

• kube-state-metrics version: 2.18.0
• Kubernetes version (use kubectl version): 1.33.7
• Cloud provider or hardware configuration: "the-hard-way"
• Other info:

[k8s-ci-robot]
