Cannot run minikube, error while running cni: var/lib/minikube/binaires/kubetcl doesnt exist

What Happened?

On my archlinux OS, I am attempting to spin up a minikube instance to try to debug keycloak, but it errors when creating the configuration for cilium. After looking through the log, It shows that cni config was tried to be set from /var/lib/minikube, but that folder does not exist. I followed the instructions to download minikube initially, and when that didn't work I installed them through pacman as well, with no change.

Log file shows that Minikube trying to create required directories, there could be a permission issue preventing directory creation. Due to this failures, Minikube will not be able to store CNI configurations.

You can try manually creating the required directory before starting Minikube, and then restart it if issue persists check with sudo.

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/minikube
sudo chmod -R 755 /var/lib/minikube
